Surfing is Ed Amorim’s life and passion. He is our founder and overall head coach and mentor. Ed has multiple qualifications and awards including the Level 2 Advanced Coach ISA/Surfing Australia.

Every coach on the beach holds current first aid and CPR, a surf coach certification and a Working With Children check, so you can hand your kids over and relax.

Guto Amorim
Head Coach, Indonesia
Coach Guto is our top head coach and partner in Indonesia where he spends more time inside a barrel than on land. He has a thorough surf knowledge and he is our expert on hollow waves and reef breaks. He will keep you safe and happy, achieving your best in challenging conditions. He has a vast knowledge of surf competition, fitness and health food to provide you with complete training.
Saulo Lyra
Head Coach, Brazil
Saulo Lyra is our Brazilian head coach. He is a genuine champion in surf competition winning a variety of titles during his career and is a perfect coach to bring out the best of your surf skills when you are in Brazil or Chile. Saulo is also our multimedia member and he is very popular in Brazil.
Sally Neil
Coach
Coach Sally specialises in ladies’ surfers’ needs. Our water woman loves surf and any water sport and as an experienced diver and sailor, she knows well how to read the ocean. She is a qualified nurse and brings all the safety aspects together with her special smile to her sessions, which results in lessons which are both fun and safe.
Flow
Coach, SmoothStar
Flow is a recent addition to our coaching team. His specialty is the SmoothStar skate for surfers training. He is very committed to delivering the best experience to our surf students. He loves to see you doing well and feeling safe in the water.
Steve Turner
Coach, Intermediate
Steve is our coach for intermediate surfers. He is a fully qualified coach and an experienced local surfer and competitor. He will love to share with you his local surf knowledge and technique.
Keith
Coach & Videographer
Keith really likes the strong and big swells. He is also a great cameraman inside and out of the water, helping us with surfing analysis and promotions. He is a great coach and has lots to pass on to our students.
