Grommets classes, ocean safety and competition training for under 16s.
Grommets Program
Designed especially for young kids, (typically ages 6-15), our grommets classes operate weekly at the popular Smiths Beach. Encompassing surf safety, surf knowledge and of course lots of surfing, we guarantee to have your child smiling, and standing up in no time. Ability in these classes is mixed, all students are encouraged to participate in our annual grommets championship.
Grommet Ocean Safety Program
This program is designed for our youngsters to become familiar with beach fun and safety and to develop a love of the ocean and all it offers in a safe surfing environment.

Encompassing surf safety, surf knowledge and of course lots of surfing, we guarantee to have your child smiling, and standing up in no time. Kids Surf Competition Training Program
Our Kids Surf Competition Program is designed especially for young talented Grommets under the age of 16 at any surf-skills level. Our training for Competition sessions are held weekly at the popular Smiths Beach unless otherwise notified (this will depend on surf conditions). All aspects of surf competition are covered, including rules and regulations, tactics for achieving best results under various surf conditions, heat simulation, regular feedback, physical and mental development necessary for competition preparation and knowledge. We aim to provide a clear path for both personal and career development. All students are encouraged to participate in our annual grommets championship.
